Niraj integrated section was started in the year 1988 with the aim to provide social integration for children with special needs.
It is working successfully under the guidance of our founder Principal
Dr. Mrs. B. Jyothi Reddy and our dynamic Principal Mr. B. Jivitesh Reddy.
It is a small unit consisting of 30 students socially integrated with 1300 students of the main stream.
The section has qualified and dedicated special educators, vocational instructor and extra-curricular activity teachers.
Social integration enables the differently abled students to enjoy equal opportunities, rights and services.
They are integrated in extracurricular activities like Dance, Music, Yoga, Games & Assembly. Students were integrated for field trips & picnics. Individual attention is given to enhance their confidence levels and self-esteem.
Children take active participation in festival celebrations and school functions.
Integrated teaching and learning enables the children to acquire and use basic skills in all content areas. All activity teachers will put a lot of effort and involve personally to make the children learn effectively.
The program of the students will be planned based on their basic skills like motor, cognitive, speech and learning skills periodic guidance and counselling given to each parent for the development of his/her child.
The new admissions were taken through formal assessment. Individual program therapies and all extra-curricular activities are the services that are included for the holistic development of the child. Periodic evaluations and continuous monitoring is done for their holistic development.
