School Emblem:

 LOTUS is the symbol of our school. Our Vedic texts state that it is a symbol of wisdom or understanding. Despite having roots in silt, lotus flowers are found above the water. The lotus teaches us to cultivate good virtues and avoid vices.

Admission Guidelines and Regulations:

  • The school reserves the rights to make changes in the school rules and regulations, which will be communicated to students and parents and shall be binding to all.

1.Age Validation: Students’ ages will be validated in accordance with NEP criteria, using proof such as a birth certificate and Aadhar card.
2. Age Criteria:
a) Children ages 3 and up are admitted to Nursery, those ages 4 and up are admitted to LKG, and those ages 5 and up are admitted to UKG.
b) According to DEO and NEP criteria, children six years of age and older must be admitted to class 1.

3. Selection Criteria:

  1. A written entrance exam, a face-to-face interview with the appropriate HOD or vice principal, and an evaluation by the school administration are the sole requirements for admission.
  2. Upon selection, the kid will be admitted to the school and a slot will be reserved based on seat availability and class strength.
  3. The issuance of an admission form does not ensure enrolment in the institution.
  4. Admission will not be deemed final until the necessary documentation, term 1 tuition, caution deposit, and entrance fees have been paid.
  5. Unless approved in writing by the principal, admission will be cancelled if the required fee is not paid on time. Admission will not be deemed final until the necessary documentation, term 1 tuition, caution deposit, and entrance costs have been paid.
  6. Documents: Birth certificate, Aadhar copy of parents and students, transfer certificate, bonafide certificate, PEN (Permanent education number), Apaar ID
  7. Refund Policy: Except for a caution deposit, fees are non-refundable once paid, even if the student misses one day of class.

4. Once a student’s name and date of birth are entered into school records, they cannot be modified without a court affidavit.

Fees Guidelines:

  1. a) The annual tuition cost will be assessed regardless of whether classes are taught in-person or virtually.
  2. b) The child’s name will be struck from the school’s rolls if annual fees are not paid in full before classes start.
  3. c) There will be no fee reimbursement.
  4. d) At the discretion of administration, school tuition may be paid monthly, quarterly, or half-yearly in the event of unforeseen events like pandemics, floods, etc. The school fees must be paid by the deadline in certain situations. The deadline for paying all fees should not be disregarded.
  5. e) If payments are not paid by the deadline, the student’s name will be removed from the records.

Withdrawal Policy:

  1. Parents who want to withdraw their kid from school must notify the administration as soon as the school sends out withdrawal notices; otherwise, they will be responsible for paying the term fees.
  2. Notifications of withdrawal shall be released between December 3rd and January 3rd of the corresponding academic year.
  3. Parents can apply in person or online through the MCB app for a withdrawal within a specified time frame.
  4. All the amounts paid at the time of admission shall not be refundable, except the Caution Deposit which will be paid after deducting 20% towards wear & tear.
  5. On leaving the school, students must return library books and any other items they might have borrowed during their stay in the school and thereafter, apply for a refund of their caution money.
  6. The claim for refund of caution money should be made within 3 months of leaving the school.

Transportation:

  1. Bus fee will be collected for the full year in two instalments i.e. June and December.
  2. There will be no refund of transport fees in case of discontinuation of bus services by a student in the middle of a term.
  3. Once the transport facility is availed, the student should continue for the whole year.
  4. Damage to the bus property by the students, will be borne by the parents.

Disciplinary Guidelines:

On the following grounds, management may cancel admission:

  1. a) Failure to pay fees by the deadline.
  2. b) Parents acting rudely and manhandling the personnel and management
  3. c) Discrediting management and the school in court or the media, or publishing anything on social media that damages the school’s or management’s reputation
  4. d) A prolonged absence without explanation.
  5. e) The pupil is discovered using unfair methods during assessments and examinations.
  6. f) Should it turn out later that any of the information provided by the parent or guardian on the medical history sheet and student registration form at the time of admission was inaccurate.
  7. g) Should the student mistreat, harm, or misbehave with their peers, their admission will be revoked.
  8. h) Students are not allowed to use school phones without permission.
  9. i) In the event of collective damage to school property in class room, the entire class will be charged the cost of damage.
  10. j) A vigilant outlook should be maintained towards keeping the surroundings clean. All waste papers should be picked up and thrown into the dustbin.
  1. k) Students are not allowed to leave the class without class out-pass and without permission of the teacher. While moving in between the classes in the corridors and while using the staircases all must keep to the left. Students should move in a way that no child is disturbed.
  2. l) A student must speak in decent language (English) all the time. He must ensure that his speech is courteous and polite.
  3. m) Students are expected to bring the books according to the time-table.
  4. n) While taking the examination every scholar should do so with utmost honesty.
  5. o) Students must report any incident of bullying and ragging to the teachers immediately.
  6. p) Writing, scratching, engraving graffiti, drawing and splashing ink or defacing the school walls, furniture and property.
  7. q) Students are prohibited from collecting money, contribution and donation without written permission of the principal.
  8. r) students are not supposed to talk ill about any religion/ Caste/Creed.
  9. s) No aggressive religious discussions are entertained in the school premises.

BOOKS GUIDELINES:

  1. a) Books fees are paid by the parents directly to the third-party vendor.
  2. b) The school’s role is limited to acting as an intermediary between the parent and the third-party vendor.
  3. c) The third-party vendor determines the pricing of the books independently and the does not act as agent of the school.
  4. d) All the payments by the parents towards books should be made directly to the books supplier through Online links sent in MCB app and ensure that the supplier issues a receipt for the same.

 SCHOOL UNIFORM GUIDELINES:

Students must come to school in neatly laundered uniform and polished shoes. The hair should be trimmed and the nails must be cut regularly.

 

  1. GIRLS UNIFORM (Pre-primary & Primary): White shirt and Khaki skirt, white socks and black polished shoes. No fancy ear rings, bangles or jewellery are allowed. No sandals or slippers are allowed in the school. Girls with long hair should make plaits.
  2. GIRLS UNIFORM (High School & Senior High School): White shirt and Khaki Pant Check, white socks and black polished shoes. No fancy ear rings, bangles or jewellery are allowed. No sandals or slippers are allowed in the school. Girls with long hair should make plaits.
  3. BOYS UNIFORM (Pre-primary & Primary):White shirt and khaki shorts, white socks and black polished shoes. No fancy watches, chains or wrist bands are allowed. No sandals or slippers are allowed in the school. Boys’ hair should be cut short.

  5. The school will not accept any direct payments for the Uniforms.
  6. All the payments by the parents towards school uniforms should be made directly to the uniform supplier either by Cash/Cards or Online and ensure that the supplier issues a receipt for the same.
  7. A copy of the receipt should be filed with the school.
  8. All students (including new admits) should get the School Uniform from the authorized supplier will be present on the campus.
  9. The school is not liable / responsible for the untimely delivery of the uniforms by the supplier. The school is not responsible for any receipt of damaged uniforms. Further, the school is not responsible for mismatch in sizes and amounts paid once shall not be refunded.
  10. The orders from the parents of newly admitted students will be taken only after the Annual School Fee has been paid to the school and upon furnishing the ‘Student’s School Admission Number’ to the uniform vendors.

Note

  1. a) The school’s role is limited to acting an intermediary between the parent and the Uniform supplier and hence, the Uniform supplier is not an agent of the school.
  2. a) No student is allowed to use any makeup, apply mehndi, manicure the nails, wear the flowers or jewellery.

LIBRARY RULES:

  1. All students of the school are members of the library.
  2. Strict discipline and silence should be observed in the library.
  3. Library books should be taken care of and returned on the due date.
  4. Marking, underlining, writing or damaging pages of the books are strictly prohibited.
  5. A clearance certificate is to be obtained from the librarian before applying for Transfer Certificate.
  6. Loss of book: to be replaced with same book or current cost of book to be paid.

ATTENDANCE AND ABSENTEEISM

  1. The minimum attendance required for promotion in the year is 95% of the total number of working days during the academic year.
  2. Attendance at games & physical exercises is compulsory.
  3. If pupil requires exemption from the same a medical certificate must be submitted. Application for leave of absence should be addressed to the Principal / Class Teacher in writing.
  4. Students absenting themselves without the prior permission from the school for more than 10 days, their name shall be liable to be struck of the rolls.
  5. Students will not be allowed inside the school premises after 8.00 a.m. and school will not be responsible for their safe return after school working hours.
  6. Late arrival will be permitted between 8:05 a.m. to 8:10 a.m., only 3 times in a month.
  7. Punctuality and regularity in attendance is essential. Students who have been absent the previous day must bring a note of explanation. In case of illness a Medical Certificate should also be sent.
  8. Students who expect to reach home late after the school due to personal reasons must inform their parents/guardians in advance.

ACADEMIC TERMS/ SEMESTERS:

SCHOOL SEMESTERS (Terms):

  1. School year consists of two terms, 1st term March to September, 2nd term October to February.
  2. There are two term examinations and one final examination every year.

PROMOTION:

Students who acquire a minimum of 50% of marks in each subject are only eligible for promotion.

PRIVATE TUTIONS:

  1. Tuition by the school teachers is strictly prohibited.
  2. If any pupil is found persuading the school teacher, then he / she is likely to be removed from the school, and violating the rules the teacher shall be dismissed from the school.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS

  1. Parents / Guardians are requested to ensure that their wards are punctual.
  2. The Parents / Guardians or their nominees must pick up the K.G. Boys /girls from the school by 12:15 p.m., I to V by 2:15 p.m. and class IV to X by 3:00 p.m.
  3. They are requested to ensure that their wards are clean and well dressed. If there is any change in the uniform then the student will not be allowed in the class without prior Principal’s / Vice principal / HOD’s permission.
  4. No student is allowed to correspond by using school address / internet etc.
  5. Parents or guardians should as soon as possible notify the school authorities of the occurrence of any contagious or infectious disease in the house where a student lives, and the pupil or pupils must not be sent to school until all danger of infection is over after the LAST CASE in the house, as may be the nature of the disease
  6. Half days and short leaves are not granted to students.
  7. Parents are requested to visit the MCB app regularly for updates like public holidays, field trips, festival celebrations and other notifications.
  8. Any communication that parents wish to make with the school should be made on A-4 sheet and must be addressed to the principal.

INSTRUCTED HOME WORK

  1. The parents are requested to see the home work given to the child every day and sign it. They should note the subjects in which the pupil is given work and give her / him special guidance at home.
  2. They should ensure that their child completes the home work at home. The student is given a programme for the term and parents should ensure that students come prepared for the class.
  3. The promotion will be decided based on the result of the “Two Term Tests” as well as on that of “The Final Examination” as prescribed. Therefore parent / guardians’ co-operation is solicited in helping, guiding and supervising the child at home. Above all, parents are requested to maintain a class contact with school staff after fixing the appointment.
  4. They should collect the records of evaluation after every semester, and take appropriate interest where ever required, failing which the child may not improve and will not be allowed to appear for the next semester examination.

DISCIPLINE

  1. All students are required to maintain discipline and not indulge in ragging boisterous behaviour, eve teasing, insolent behaviour etc., with the Principal, Heads, Teachers, Support staff members and students outside or inside the school premises.
  2. They should behave properly in a dignified manner.
  3. Those students who indulge in the above-mentioned mischief in spite of warnings are liable to be removed from the school.
  4. Those who damage the school property shall be liable to pay the full cost and compensate the school

SCHOOL CURRICULUM

  1. The school curriculum is designed to impart knowledge through well qualified and trained teachers as far as possible under the unique audio-visual programme to develop the personality of the child.
  2. Parents / Guardians are requested to speak in the medium of instruction at home to improve the efficiency of the child.
  3. The students will be given a schedule of holiday, exams, tests etc., for the quarter. Parents / Guardians are required to make themselves conversant with the schedule and participate where ever necessary.
  4. The school follows the C.S.E. Curriculum (Class 1 to 10th) & ISC Curriculum (11th & 12th), New Delhi and medium of instruction is English.
  5. The school offers English as the 1st language, Hindi or Telugu as the 2nd language (Second language starts from class UKG to X), Hindi or Telugu as the 3rd language (Third language starts from class IV to VI)
  6. Parents are requested to acknowledge circulars, report and other memos sent by teacher. They should read, sign and return such memos. Failure to do so puts all concerned to inconvenience and the teacher will not be able to co-ordinate with parents / guardians.

SCHOOL VISITATION

  1. Parents will not be allowed to enter the school premises during the school working hours except in the case of emergency.
  2. Parents visiting the school on working days should obtain the prior appointment from the front office executive via email/phone.
  3. Parents should not directly meet the teacher and disturb the class.
  4. They must report to the front office first and then parents will be redirected to the concerned Vice principal, HOD’s and teachers.
  5. Parents during their visits to the school have to adhere to the security rules and regulations.
  6. The school reserves the right of admission to the school premises. All visitors should sign in the security register and carry a visitors’ slip which should be presented at the security gate at the time of leaving the campus.
  7. If they have any problem regarding their children, they have to meet the Vice principal & HOD’S between 3-00 p.m. To 3-30 p.m. with prior appointment.
  8. Parents are requested to call during working hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm – Monday to Saturday)

LOST AND FOUND

  1. Children are requested to label their articles (water bottles, bags, and pencil boxes/pouches) to avoid confusion.
  2. The lost and found articles will be put in the lost found room and parents / guardians may identify and contact the concerned person in the office to claim the articles, if any after taking the permission.

Governing Law:

The laws of the State of Telangana shall govern this document.

 School Infirmary:

  1. The school has a well-equipped medical room/ school infirmary.
  2. At health camps, trained medical professionals perform a thorough yearly physical examination on every kid to track their physical development. (Classes 1–5)
  3. A medical card to record the health status and growth of the child is maintained and a report thereof is sent to the parents for information and necessary action.
  4. First aid treatment is given by a school nurse in case of accidents and emergencies.
  5. Parents are informed immediately and may be intimated to take their ward home.
  6. While the school assures all possible precautions and care, the school management will not be responsible for any adverse consequences.

Declaration:
