Embarking on a journey to the future.

Grades 6 and 7 mark an important phase in the middle school journey,
where students gradually transition from guided learning to greater
academic independence.

At Niraj Public School, this stage strengthens
core concepts while nurturing curiosity, discipline, and self-confidence in a supportive environment.

Curriculum

The curriculum is broad and balanced, designed to build strong foundational skills across subjects.

Students study English and Hindi/Regional Language to develop effective communication skills. Mathematics focuses on numbers, algebra, geometry, and data handling to strengthen logical thinking.

Science is taught as three distinct disciplines — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, encouraging observation, experimentation, and analytical thinking. Social Studies is organised into two components — History & Civics, and Geography, helping students understand society, governance, and the environment.

Computer Science focuses on digital literacy and computational thinking.

SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work), along with hands-on activities such as Carpentry and Robotics, provides experiential learning opportunities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills.

Physical Education promotes fitness, discipline, and overall well-being.

Learning Approach

Learning is concept-based and application-oriented, helping students connect knowledge to real-life situations. Subject-specific teachers guide students through interactive discussions, projects, and presentations.

The school emphasizes time management, independent study habits, and critical thinking. Classroom learning is enriched through digital tools, well-equipped laboratories, library resources, and hands-on experiences.

Assessment

Assessment is continuous and comprehensive, with:

* Two Monthly Assessments (50 marks each)

* Two Term Examinations (100 marks each)

Students are encouraged to achieve a minimum of 50% in each subject to ensure steady progress and readiness for higher grades.
